ABOUT DENIM BY LUKAME
I am a freelance fashion designer Lukrecija ZigmantaitÄ—.
During my master's degree, I get deeper into exploring my old passion for denim. I have fully focused on recycling old denim garments. Within my work, I aim to reveal nostalgic and emotional aspects of clothing and textiles. I value memories and believe that each piece of clothing holds history within itself. I always seek for sustainable yet innovative and fresh ways to renew old denim clothes and incorporate it into contemporary designs.

Currently, I am also exploring and practising 3D digital fashion design which is another great tool to create sustainable fashion and production solutions. Combining innovation and traditional, hand techniques is the fashion I feel the most passionate about. Hope these aspects and values of mine reveal in my works too.
